Introduction
With the current state of the advertising economy, a number of
web sites approached Media Two for
help in selling their unsold advertising space. As an Advertising Agency, Media Two needed
to only look out for its client's best interests. Therefore, Media Two spun off a new
business called theAdAuthority.com. A sales force was hired in order to find new
advertisers (large and small) to fill web sites remnant space. This remnant space is being
offered to new advertisers at a discounted rate with the understanding that it will only
run when there is unsold space available. |
|
Process
theAdAuthority.com's sales force has an arsenal of advertisers who are interested in
generating leads off of financial web sites. Your only job is to provide a visible place
for these ads to be seen on your web site. You do not have to cold-call trying to sell
your space. You do not have to beg clients for creative (or new creative). You do not have
to hound advertisers for payments. All-in-all, we want to do all of your advertising
selling for you. |
|
| Your web site (the hosting site) is only responsible for
placing 1 line of JavaScript (or 2 lines of HTML) on your site. These 2 lines of code will
randomly pull up different advertisers and their offers from our servers. If you use a
banner delivery system (such as Double Click Dart or Tribal Fusion), our code is designed
to work with those systems also. |
|
| theAdAuthority.com will supply creative and landing pages
for all campaigns. Those pages and creative will be hosted on theAdAuthority.com's servers
(so again, there is no upkeep for you at all). |
|
| Web sites may run banner ads (in almost any size - click here to see our recommended
advertiser sizes), email sponsorships or direct email campaigns in order to generate leads
for the advertiser. All creative must either come from the client, or be approved by the
client. Telemarketing, co-sponsorship or other methods are not acceptable unless written
approval is granted by theAdAuthority.com. |
|
Reporting/Tracking
theAdAuthority.com
has the ability to email you traffic reports that will show clicks and impressions on a
daily, weekly or monthly basis. Or, if you are
interested, we can set you up for access to our real-time database that allows you to view
your traffic at your leisure. For tracking
leads, its a little more manual at this time. Upon
a lead submitting their information, the form is set up to email the paying
advertiser, plus, send a copy of the lead to theAdAuthority.com as well as a
copy to the participating web site. This
method will eliminate any question as to how many leads were generated. The lead is the property of the paying
advertiser, and the participating web site does not have ANY right to that information
other than for billing purposes. |
|
Rates/Payments
All revenue generated is split 50/50 between theAdAuthority.com and the participating web
site. theAdAuthority.com accepts full responsibility for all payments - so there is no
need for you to worry about collections. Checks are cut the first week of every month, and
mailed immediately. If you have not received your check for the month by the 10th, please
contact your local post office immediately. |
